I have to agree. As someone who's been playing DotA and it's copycats since Pudge spat out invulnerable undead and SA had a Death Ward, HoN just doesn't compare. While it's the closest copycat (LoL just flat out fucking sucks) the graphics sucked, and seemed like they were trying too hard with it, and targeting was always an issue with certain heroes.

Been playing it since closed beta, and been playing Dota for years before that.

If you're looking for a game like Dota and don't want to play the WC3 original, HoN wins. Hopefully Dota 2 will clean up the shit wrong with it.

With my experience, overall HoN has the most skillful community and the most douchey community. I have played a few hundred games in the past two months and I haven't had more than 1 maybe 2 games with a leaver/disconnect.

I Beta tested LoL and have friends who play it religiously... I really don't understand the draw. The game is easier and yet people are still bad... but that was a year ago and so I can't pretend to understand where it stands now.

With the free to play patch, we're gonna see a lot more of the old-school dota and LoL coming through HoN. Tons of leavers, having to buy heroes, and an even worse community.

I stopped playing when open beta started. Closed beta was fun because it was, for the most part, good players in there, and most people didn't leave in the middle of the match while my team was kicking them in the poop shoot. After about 2 days of open beta I think I managed to get in less than 5 full games that weren't in-house with just my friends all playing.

Harrison is annoying because all he does is trash any type of game with a competitive PVP aspect to it but hes right. HoN is fucking terrible. You can't have idiots that originally sucked at DotA remaking the game in their own vision.

I played HoN in beta and tried it out some a couple months ago. They got it completely wrong.

Been playing HoN the past couple days instead of LOL.

The game itself isn't too bad...but I dont think I got to play a SINGLE 5v5 match.

I thought LoL was bad with leavers/feeders/ass-holes but HoN is 10x worse. I didn't think it was possible but the HoN community actually IS worse than the LoL community as well.

It was pretty clear after a couple days playing why nobody wants to play their game.
