DE Shadowknight. Lvl 5, now what?

I played EQ many years ago when it was only the Kunark expansion. Im playing a dark elf shadowknight and I just dinged 5. I have been hanging around what I used to know as "Newbie Log" back in the day (a large log a little outside Neriak). I have no good clue about what to do next. Where is someplace good for me to look for a group and or solo if needed? Maybe a place to find gear? a decent place to get to lvl 9? Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
