Default Int/Wis and tradeskills

Hey guys,

I recently started blacksmithing and my skill is 175 now. I havent worried about raising int or wis for more skill ups but it has become much harder now so im considering it.

Can anyone with experience in this area tell me how significantly it will change my progress with higher int or wis?

Thanks in advance.

Going from 110 to 200 in whichever stat you go with (str/wis/int) will save you a lot of money if you're trying to get to 200+. It's something like a 10-12% overall skillup chance vs 7-9%. It may not sound like a lot, but it will cut your total cost by a third or so.

Tradeskills to me have always been a crap shoot, and not for the meak and mild. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Jewelcrafting to me is the ONLY skill that you might actually make a Lot of plat doing. Smithing involves too many other skills to make it happen. Shaman Potions is not a way to get rich quick. I think most of the joy of it is to give Guildies some good gear for free, or at a WAY reduced price, ego, either way, losing money, to help others out. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

But it can be fun, but going into it thinking you are going to be rich on average is pretty naive. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I wouldn't on blue now. There's enough tunnel JCers competing, and I imagine a lot of silent customers who speak to their guild and get things done that way for a smaller outlay.

Gotta love that heavy top end.
