Some of you may remember achievements existing in the past on our servers, but limited to simply being the first person to reach each level, and also being the first class (and in the case of Kunark release, the first Iksars).
We plan to expand upon this system for the release of Green. When I say expand, I mean
really expand to include just about anything we can think of that is worthy of a serverwide announcement. If we have time I also intend to put an Achievement section on the website to showcase the first of each.
So, other than the first race/class/overall to reach certain levels, I want to implement achievements for a wide variety of accomplishments. This can include:
The first to kill a certain mob.
The first to loot a specific item.
The first to complete a specific quest.
The first to craft a specific item.
The first to pickup a specific ground spawn item.
We may even expand this system in the future to provide overall character-specific, or account-specific achievement lists for people to work towards. But for right now, we're going to focus on what would be worthy to announce in a server wide message and feature on our website.
Many of you know that I am not a content person. I opened this discussion up to the rest of the staff a while ago when we originally discussed it, but I feel that this is also something the community could help with. So, with that said, we are looking for your suggestions. When making suggestions, please include as much information as possible regarding the goal, as if you are explaining it to someone does not know who the mob is, or what the quest is (Because in most cases, I don't!

For example:
The first player to kill Fippy Darkpaw! He's a gnoll that occasionally spawns in North Qeynos and rushes the gates.
The first player to loot a Guise of the Deceiver! It drops from an NPC called 'a ghoul assassin' in lower guk.
The first player to complete the Stein of Moggok quest! It is completed by turning in Barkeep Compendium to NPC Named Clurg in Oggok.
Also please link Wiki links whenever applicable. Let's also keep this limited to Classic. We'll readdress the list at a later time for Kunark and Velious.
