they also live in a police state, which employs more military assets against its population than it has in ukraine.
a coup attempt would have to come from within Putin's circle or not at all.
realistically, russia will die the same way that the USSR died, economically.
then globalist interests will swarm russia and establish themselves the same way that russian oligarchs and KGB officers bought up all the nationalized industries for fractions of pennies on the dollar when the USSR fell in 1991.
