This isn't to pretend like public education is good and doesn't need improvement across the board: I also had a teacher in like the 8th grade tell me it was legal to send a letter to the president to get legal permission to murder someone as long as the president had signed it. Maybe she was a military recruiter in disguise
Public education sucks and is full of pro-capitalist propaganda, I agree, but I'm sorry you can't decide about individualism versus collectivism for whatever reason. Normally the 'All blood on America's hands is righteous' folks are just so downright reasonable and agree that defense is best when multiple people participate

I've always found it weird, when adults choose kids as their profession, 1% of them have a truly innocent heart which intends to guide new humans into their lives, the other 99% of adults who work with kids are just some sort of weirdo, and in the worst cases, pedophiles.
