Everfrost is great, provided you pull out of the main paths and avoid those Vengeful quest skeleton NPCs. They suck. Polar Bear skins for easy low level armor and gold, then Black Burrow. You just have to memorize the paths through the mountains.

Black Burrow is great, just watch out for that asshole grizzly bear at that roams the top level. Killed me enough times to regret it.
