Warriors don’t really use shields, so bash isn’t good.

Good non-large-race warriors keep a shield in a top-level inventory slot and momentarily swap it in to Bash.
Also, since the Bash skill cap is higher than Kick skill cap, I think that means you're more likely to land a Bash than a Kick.
