This. People forget that classic had all sorts of whimsical experimentation going on, that it was a game within an everchanging and growing context. If you want to look at something that stays still, just browse your screenshot folder. If anything, a server frozen in Velious is what's not classic. Back in the day, we always knew more was coming. Now? Classic apparently just means "done" to a lot of people.
