But, on live they would say "clever use of game mechanics". You can say that agro kiting any mob, even one druid soloing for xp might not be what EQ intended since it isn't a tank and spank.

Not sure if sarcastic? On live you definitely got banned for abusing broken scripts or getting a bit too exploity with aggro mechanics. This was particularly true for server firsts. The most notorious example was Conquest's ban for trying to wake the sleeper via aggro kiting one of the warders in the water.
Kudos to Apex for the bold strategy, but avoiding the PoG clear is super unclassic. Hope they fix.
