Look, it's kind of a misnomer. It's not trolling. It's formulaic BS that I am guessing by now anyone who mods has seen a hundred times.
A troll throws a grenade. A good troll, that's it. No reason, no agenda, no purpose, other than thread mayhem and shenanigans.
A troll does not care.
But stuff that tries to drag out grandpa BS? Usually some version of:

That stuff is objectively bad.
It's not trolling when your goal is to actually deeply agitate people.
