You first have to eliminate all classes that can solo with zero gear. Cause what fun is it to self find all this gear that is mostly meaningless. Oh boy I got more mana, but I don't get hit anyhow, so yay that makes it more fun.... NOT. Then I think for the majority of folks Warrior and Rogue is not going to be a fun SSF character. So that leaves Paladin, Shadow Knight, Ranger, Monk as your choices. All equally fun in solo self found, I can't rate one over the other.
