I think he means after Erudin takes ErudsXing they would naturally have to face Qeynos.
In this event I would probably say that if they decide to Ally then Erudin would be able to Leap-Frog Qeynos while ever they were allied.
The alliance would need to be declared a day in advance to the referees and declared when it was broken.
If the alliance is dropped any subsequent zones the Erudites used would be lost. Ie if they had taken Karana by leap frogging Qeynos then they would lose the karanas.
Alternatively the Erudites could crush Qeynos and claim it for themselves
