90% of time there are 4 people spamming OOC out of a solid 100 players. Some /auctioning which is probably its chief benefit at present since there is no player defined auction zone.

And yeah, I can't say I'm a fan of the way yer trying to talk down on me because we don't share an opinion. I'm an RZ player and I think grief is the most beautiful aspect of this game and not because I'm a masochist. It just makes the stakes higher. But OOC has been dumb for a while, half of the people that say something in there just get verbally assaulted by a few buddies pretending to heart PVP while pharming plat somewheres.

Possibly a lack of global OOC might have us develop a common trading post and make a more centralized trading area where the local OOC can be madness and pvp is rampant with guards racking up more kills than anyone else, assuming NPC aggro gets worked on.

Sorry dude. a PVP server doesn't mean everyone is a player killer at all times. A great skill based straight PVP Game that you may not play is street fighter 4 arcade edition. Another good one is call of duty. Those are fun pvp games but lack EQ's exciting variety. They are really well balanced tho...
