I am rather susceptible to the Skinner cage, carrot-on-a-stick philosophy that most MMOs abide by. The 'achievement' system just made it even worse. Gawd how nice it feels to finally be rid of that game. My main had just under 8k achievement points, and I had six other 80 alts each with 3-5k points themselves. So many years of my life completely wasted...

I guess EQ isn't much different in terms of time-wasting, but as long as I don't let myself become so completely captivated by this as much as I did with WoW, then there is still hope for meee!
