Can't say I learned a terrible lot going to college. The only books I bought generally were math books, literally every other class I could have taught better than the instructor. Maybe that's why I got summa cum laude, and is why I'm going for phd to milk government grant money on worthless research projects while I halfass teach on the side.
When you start a job, the first week or 2 is just training you to do whatever the fuck it is that they do. Taking a bunch of foreign language and history classes just makes you more cultured or some bullshit, and not more adept at any certain career.
