It's a double edged sword, allows you to be persistent as fuck (you are unable to understand the social cues when a girl is un-interested) but it also means you are oblivious to any form of 'flirting'. I've went through life thinking nobody had ever flirted with me but since being with my girlfriend she likes to point out all the times it happens.
Those kinds of revelations are weird to say the least.
