That's another jump though, you go from the idea of wanting to hurt humans that hurt animals to the idea of choosing an animal over a child (assuming the child wasn't the one hurting the animals).
Two very different things.
Go look up some videos of the Japanese dolphin industry and watch some asshole slit the throats of those creatures for a while and tell me you wouldn't want to slit his throat.
