Well I'm relieved she doesn't want anyone arrested. I guess in this case were talking about a soft form of censorship; Where people try to go around the law and kill someones career. Ether way its bullshit. Someone may get emotional hurt periodically, that's the price of a society with free speech.
Media does affect the way people behave in mass. But there is no strong evidence I've seen that there is some direct causation between rape jokes and rape specifically. Rather, its just a piece of the "rape culture" doctrine that the modern feminist movement is married to. I got to say, out of all the sexist media (like rap videos, mainstream religious programing, and porn), comedy is way down on the list, yet always the first to come up. Rape jokes may be a symptom of a culture that doesn't take rape seriously enough. To convince me otherwise, provide some actual strong evidence to justify the claim that it belittles societies attitude of rape on a vast scale.
If you don't like what Glen Beck says, turn it off. That's sure as hell what I did. Once I figured out he was basically trolling for money. At least comedians are joking and everyone knows it.
