I would have to disagree. The point is a bit moot, there could be a happy medium seeing how no one really experiments to find out what the spell does, they go on the Wiki and find out before buying it. Back in the day there was no wiki so you had to experiment.
I guess the only real reason for keeping this "frustrating" feature in place is to remind people of how frustrating it was back in the day

And as an added bonus, every time someone goes to the project1999 wiki it adds those views and clicks that make the site ever more popular for search engines.
But thanks for your reply, I didn't really consider the "experiment" argument before. Although I don't agree with it, it gave me something to consider.
