Retti, it's really easy to make your own sauce. The hardest part is sautéing an onion. After the onion is golden, throw in 5 or 6 cloves of crushed garlic, let it cook a min, then dump in 2 big cans (or 4 regular sized) of Hunts tomato sauce. Add 2 tbs of basil (dried) a pinch of oregano, 1 tsp salt, crack a good bit of pepper over that bitch and throw in some sausage/other meat. Let it simmer for 3 hours. Done.

I don't make it often bc it's still pasta but that shit is pretty good. Can make meatballs but that takes more work. Also if you like seafood buy a bag of fresh mussels and some shrimp, throw them in the pot at the very end to cook a couple mins (you don't want to overcook the seafood. Also if you do seafood don't use the sausage/meatballs). Impress your lady friend with this simple meal and a bottle of red.
