Oh, I realize that that pain and death are a part of life. I also realize that solipsism is generally a pretty poor philosophy to live one's life by.

The people I know who have lost weight and shaped their bodies into healthy/fit status did so through comprehension of nutrition and exercise and figuring out what works for them and modifying their own diet (in its traditional definition not the modern American definition)

Yes, that's generally the way to do it. Not sure what you're trying to say to me in this regard; I've studied nutrition and I don't subscribe to any fad diets. I actually eat fairly unhealthy because I choose to maintain a vegan diet in spite of what I've learned abut nutrition.
The body tells you what it needs and wants, if you just listen. Most fad diets involve starving yourself to some extent, but if the body is properly cared for hunger means you should eat. If hunger becomes your enemy, you are doing something wrong.

But hey I'm sure you'll shred it all off and be the hottest twink in Lexington and never gain any weight back. Sky is the limit from here.

I've always been very skinny, and the issues I've run into with poor health (like back in high school) all seemed to involve things like lethargy and lack of mental focus instead of body image. You can starve and look decent, but you'll suffer for it in other ways.
