God. I don't have any screenshots worth posting of our crawl through the hole. This is terrible. I wonder if I could convince Drumas to do it again with me one of these days, and go down into there with a checklist of shots to take so I can actually put together an awesome text+visual post.
Oh well.
Using the same pet that killed Slizik, Drumas buffed me back up and we starting our way across the map:

It's a long-ass ways from #13 over to #3-4 area. There were enough see invis mobs that we figured we might as well not even try, and that we'd be better off just using the awesome golem pet to plow our way through the city. Of course, I have only been in the hole twice (and neither time was I really paying attention to the layout or mob types or anything, I was just along for the ride hasting melee and CCing stuff) and Drumas said something about how he hadn't been in Yael's room for 11 years... so yeah.
The crawl south through the halls and tunnels from #13 down was np, not many mobs, pretty spread out. But once we were due south of F/G on the map, things got nasty. We ran into the first level 54 golem (which defy tradition apparently, and are immune to mez/stun even though everywhere else in the game stuff is susceptible to those until they are level 56) and we had my pet actually get feared by the first SK mob we fought (without significant incident, fortunately). Another good screenshot right? /sigh
We cleared out a path around the south and east walls of that room there, just below F/G, took the long way around the area G is in for some reason (Drumas_tells_the_group_"I think you're lost.".jpg), then tried to stick our heads out into the area between H/G. Another level 54 golem + a couple buddies were on my pet quickly, and while it was VERY messy we would have been alright (there didn't seem to be any of the annoying CHers in range to heal through walls that we dealt with right before this point)... except that the freaking level 54 golem FLED when he got low on life. APPARENTLY I had every single golem to this point rooted until they died or something, because I don't remember anything fleeing to this point, especially when that thing had a small train of buddies right there helping beat on us........
Anyway. As soon as it rounded the corner into a ruined building there, I told Drumas to back up a ways and try to camp out. He got out shortly before 6-8ish mobs finished off my pet and summoned me. I managed to run back to where Drumas could see my corpse before I died though, yay.
A few minutes later we were resting up sitting basically right in the crossroads, anxiously hoping no pathers we had missed came by and killed Drumas as he kept manastoning himself down to 3%... lol. We made it out though, and I had the idea to bind sight, invis myself, and check to see how many mobs in the next room over actually saw invis. Turns out only two of them did, and both of them were light blues, so I lulled them no problem and the two of us zipped through invis (runes too, just incase!), emerging into the dock/water area south of the hole leading down to Yael... where we promptly aggrod another level 54 golem + a wizard buddy.
After a bit of frantic healing (the light-blue wiz landed some nukes on me I think, while I was scrambling to try to tash+root the golem), we got those two lulled and blurred, and swam out into the water to med up. <3 my fishbone earring that I carry everywhere but almost never use.
We managed to duck and carefully creep over the edge of the waterfall to land in the pool below safely, then we snagged a rat to clear the way up (another level 50 on first try, woot) and fought up to the undead area. Once there, we blurred the little ray back to his home and IVUd over to the safe spot by the K on the map and I ran below to look for Dartain. Alas:

Drumas took off, but I camped out down there hoping to get a shot at Dartain soon (ideally a shot that doesn't result in me hatting our or, worse, dying down there!).
