I was having breakfast before going to work that morning and saw the report come on after the first tower was hit. Then I watched it live as the second plane hit. I found out later that week that an old friend from EQ perished in WTC 2. (Ophelia of the Dark Carnival guild on Rallos Zek. RIP)
I tried to enlist in the Marines after the attacks to get some revenge on those bastards but a preexisting condition kept me out
