Texas can't. That would be a violation of federal law. Constitution or not, Texas couldn't survive on its own, currently, because of the massive debt we have. We have a blowhard closet case for a governor who does nothing but line his friends pockets, but because the urban population doesn't out number the rural and suburban, Perry keeps getting elected and perpetuating his cronyism.
