Maybe we're all masochists on red, but the possibility of massive grief like that really deepens the meaning of e-relationships you have with other players. This is the main reason I like pvp, I think. Who you are, whom you associate with; these things matter on red. It's easy to keep a friend on blue, but are you really willing to fight for them, if it could cost you loot or other friends? Without pvp, the community aspect of the game is really lacking .
