Procs:
Fiery Defender - 155 dd+short stun
Divine Might - 65 dd
Did you have these? Do you realize how often they proc each fight? If your dex is only 80 then you're doing it wrong...
FA swings can hit for 190+... now add rotting a 41% sky belt and some haste. Paladin parse is no longer pitiful.

Paladins & SKs tank raid trash pretty well and very often... hell I've seen a Paladin tanking Spiroc Lords. Never say never.

c2) People will not want to group with you because of the EXP penalty you bring to groups. Seriously, do not underestimate the EXP penalty.

It's the misconceptions people like you spread that make this statement true. Despite the XP penalty they make a great tank and can dish out DPS when geared well.
