Welcome!
There seem to be more druids than shamans on the server if that influences your decision or not. Play what you think is more fun though by all means. I love grouping with either class

If you want to play a class that barely exists on the server though, I recommend a Paladin or Cleric. I've been thinking about making one of those or a bard for my next toon.
Whatever you decide on I'm sure it'll be a blast.
