I don't know which study you're talking about, but I'm of the opinion that a person with a healthy diet (kcals consisting mainly of protein and fat) and decently active lifestyle will be much closer to homeostasis in all bodily functions, including hormones like T3 that, in a roundabout way, lower LDL to optimum levels.

I've taken a couple nutrition courses, and it really seems to me that the body just needs to be treated naturally. If you give your body what it evolved to eat, homeostasis is no longer a pipe dream. I stand by my statement: eggs are healthy, if the rest of your diet is also healthy and you don't suffer from any serious endocrine problems.
