I was thinking more along the lines of stripping down all of the implicated accounts and spread the really sweet gear around (including no-drop artifacts and such) via some extra GM events... but definitely delete the plat.
Otherwise, you may just be putting it into the hands of the people who get banned in the next big dramatic crime story.

Yea I just feel like there should be something done to prevent (3?) of the servers assumed to be dozen or so pre nerf fungi's from being gone forever because of RMT bullshit. Even the manastones, given there are more around, sucks to see an item that no longer drops have less in circulation due to a banned account having horded a bunch.
