I'll continue to reiterate, as both Yaji and Chest have in here, that conversations and attempts to contact Slydexx where made. I can't comment on what other steps were taken by Chest or other senior leadership in BDA.
I also was not yet an officer when Slydexx left- so I didn't reach out to another guild with inquiry as I had trust in Slydexx and figured that we'd connect, I'd remind him he needs to return the Eye to be an honest guy, and had no other inclination to believe he would have done anything other than that because I did not know Slydexx as a greedy person. The guy was a supporter, a guild guy, and in my exposure had no issues being fair and reasonable.
This is far enough out of character that it left-hooked many of us. Perhaps that's why it wasn't an escalated thing, because we all know Sly's style of play often involves some decent AFK's...or maybe that they were getting ready to get back to work and his playtime was limited (I'm not going to comment on his RL stuff, but the seasons have impact on his availability, and this is the time of the season where he gets busy).
