TMO used to wipe to Spiroc Lord for hours on end. It took us something like 2 months from first attempt to finally kill him. We also used to repeatidly get lost and train ourselves in SolB because players literally did not know the way to naggy.. they would get to BnB and then hang a right instead of a left and head towards Efreeti then spam /gu crying for help. People instructed them to just follow IB if they didn't know the way.

When TMO and Fusion merged everyone knew it was going to be a super zerg and most acknowledged that those players that sucked terribly and were too casual were going to get left behind. They went from 600 members to 150 active, to 120 active and so on.

By the time IB had left the server over Uthgaard/Amelinda stuff and VD had went through it's slow, agonizing demise TMO was probably down to under 100 active members and could institute an actual recruitment policy that wouldn't hamstring them and further help "trim the fat".

I'm sure today TMO has a decently tough application process and a large portion of high-end raiding talent and experience on their roster, just as IB had when they were the best show in town. Don't let them fool you though, we all know how bad they were during that time and just how they started to down targets with their multi-hundred zerg fest and GM awarded loot.

I think that's why some of them are still so bitter, and likewise why some IB are still bitter at their antics (zeelot was inventing a new one each week it seemed).

That got long, anyway the point is TMO was god-awful then, and they required a zerg of epic proportions to ever accomplish anything. That's probably why they still feel bitter about thing, they couldn't do it on their own.

It's also worth noting the TMO of July 2011 is not the TMO of April 2013.

They're completely seperate guilds, I would wager there are only 15 or so members still around from back then Zeelot, Eccezan, Alarti, Loly, Phisting/Baxter (left for Fusion, got reabsorbed), Elethia, Xasten, fountree, happyfeets, melx, portsche, stealin, quickfingers (left to join da to "spy" on mq users), darkdeath, and olidaen.

Apologies if I missed anyone, those are just people off the top of my head.
We had alot of people after the merger true.. but as soon as TR hit we were under numbers again.

Our skills weren't lacking it was our gear, we started raiding without resists, and without levels. Anyone knows how much MR matter for those world dragons.

Within a week of our forming we were out mobilizing a better geared, better practiced raid force (IB) within a couple months we were getting a majority of the Trakanon's.

IB skill set included hooping for loot. Which TMO then countered causing IB to get the item nerfed. TR and later IB/VD were running around wiht 80-90 players while TMO continued to dominate the raid scene. IB then got super butthurt and had a large percentage of their guild deleved for SEQ use. With more asshatery antics Perun (SEQ Map artist) then plooted the server first CT skin.

TMO within in months of deciding to compete on the raid scene took out a much more established, much better geared raid force.

If anyone is butthurt, its the IB/TR and anon ib/tr trolls that still continue to haunt these forums....u know.. like you [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Also, here are some people you missed who have been with TMO since 7/2011 and who still actively play here

Ingrid, Darkmannx, Andromeda, Zenorek, Utalnayan, Twaila, Tortue, Sentenza, Sworen, Rakpartha, Phireburn, Ogben, Necrious, Montyzuma, Froovy, Flippie, Dosxx, Desmo, Dagner, Chief
