You may have beefs, and may have justification for your anger, but....

I know Hastley is old school...played at a high level. I don't know about the rest but I will say not everyone being powerleveled is a can't play their class. Sometimes really skilled players just get plvled up so they can take part in better stuff.

I also know sometimes good players have bad days. Maybe it's lag, we all have bad lag days, well I do anyway... sometimes it's rl distractions, or who knows.

Some group mixes just don't work, for character reasons, lvl reasons, class reasons, player reasons... zone reasons.. all sorts of reasons. Sometimes it just doesn't gel.

Also sometimes it can be rough, I remember I was playing at the top end raid level, and had 0 plat. I bvusted my ass to 50 and into fear, and I had only what I could get myself. I didn't see 1k plat till a friend gave it to me after I had played eq for 6 months. I was good enough to pull far, and hate and that sufficed. I died alot anyway, dinging 49-50 12 times a night pulling those zones, spending days rebolstering 50. Heck on bad fear breaks we would lose 4 levels sometimes... we had no clerics on the raid. Sometimes you just don't have the gear... yet. It isn't easy for everyone to have the best gear...and bettr gear makes for better players to an extent. Warriors have it rough with aggro, I remember even up to LDON...and not everyone gets the high end proc wpns. Plus other players in group can help with it, casters can pace dps, healers can pace heals, puller can modify...

I like to think I can work with any group I am in, and use my skillset to make it better. Some groups fail huge, and the amount of people who can't play eq because they suck are minimal. There are those you group with who can handle chaos with ease and play at a much higher level... and often you can tell who they are because things simply go smoother.

Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing themselves.
