point of order:
Blackstone Maul was only banned because of the post 2HB game-wide upgrade status (51 dmg / 53 dly) it had at the time. It has since been retroactively nerfed to its preupgrade status of 33/38 rendering the "unfairness" for jousting moot.
It is now strictly worse than a lot of weapons that are allowed.

I strongly suggest that the Blackstone Maul be disallowed from the Warrior BoTB as its present 51/53 form was not implemented until well after Velious was first released.
When used by competent jousters this thing genuinely rips people up,
Throwing a Velious-era weapon against Kunark-geared characters means that people get torn up.
I don't want to win or place highly in the BoTB just because I have access to a weapon that is illegitimately much more powerful than it should be.
It should be prohibited,
That is, unless the fix for the Maul is scheduled to be put in prior to the BoTB.
