Your comparison is apples and oranges. I can do it too.

There were 6,420,000 auto accidents in the United States in 2005 resulting in 42,636 people killed. In the same year, there 10,100 gun deaths and 400,000 legal uses where the person would have been dead without their firearms.

Clearly cars kill 4x the amount of people and should be banned before we even start talking about guns.
