Hi this is also happening to me and I have tried everything suggested in this post as well as refreshing the trakanon zone files, different PCs, different client installations etc etc.
I appreciate the efforts of GMs who attempted to recreate the issue for themselves. We keep hearing that it is not server side. I tend to think it is more of an
unknown interaction between client and server under certain network conditions. Like there is maybe some timeout on receiving of data and the timeout is not met so the packet is continuously re-sent and it snowballs. Or something that is negotiated upon zoning which causes everything to fall on its ass.
I am from Australia and found this recent thread where multiple Australians seem to be having the same issue.

I notice upon entering TT my latency is normal, but I know straight away if there is a problem when I hit "track" and the tracking list doesn't populate immediately. After about 30 seconds the latency jumps to around 3000ms then continues to climb to stupid numbers like 12000ms. If I zone out quickly, within the first minute or so, I can successfully zone back into EJ otherwise will get booted to login screen with my character still in TT. I have to log back in and quickly zone to successfully escape the zone. If left alone in TT the client will eventually disconnect with "The server is not responding."
The VERY first time that I entered TT it was normal and I was tracking targets and pulling mobs. The second and all subsequent attempts to play in TT has resulted in this latency problem.
If you have not experienced this issue please do not come into the thread and talk about 'certain zones have always been laggy' suggesting to turn down settings or whatever. Please understand that this is unplayable and not just a 'bit of lag.'
This is an issue for me as I want to get my Sebilis key and at this stage it seems impossible unless I lend my account to someone (not likely to happen) or if a GM gives me a seb key.
