Instapoof = ban (per Sirken's ruling, and I agree)
Instapoof = gone immediately (i'm sure we can all agree with the definition of instapoof here as evidence already provided previously which caused Sirken ruling?)
Comments from FE people in thread : Desmo had LD above his head (and I agree, I see it in the fraps)
1) Desmo is clearly at the tree when at 5 seconds into the video Fistn turns around, we never saw him run there, so it stands to reason he has been there for some amount of time be it 3/10ths of a second, or 10 seconds we dont know.
2) Stands there doing nothing (when LD appeared, I cant validate because video quality is not perfect or anything)
3) Someone states at 15 seconds "You're banned" (maybe this means LD is showing now?)
4) When Fistn turns back around at 16 seconds Desmo is melee'ing the mob, which does happen when someone is LD.
5) Desmo disappears at 22 seconds*,
*not sure on this because mobs turned to area between tree and firewall, and I dont know if desmo got summoned to that spot or knocked to it, or was already gone and they're beating on someone else entirely because you cant see through the apes and fraps doesn't run long enough to show Desmo coming back in at tree or spot X
Hard to be exact with some of these times because video keeps panning around and we keep looking at back of halfling head, but I am making an effort here.
Video validates Desmo in game for a minimum of 7 seconds, but again we dont know FOR SURE when the LD appeared, it could have been there from 3 seconds before the video started, the video quality is poor, but lets assume 7 seconds based on the "You're Banned!" vent comment and that he didn't move to spot X between tree and firewall.
yes, its shorter than some LDs in game, but not an instapoof, and not unheard of for server to have a shorter than 30 second recycle on connection test. I have had a char in world for ~8 seconds before I was able to log back in without an exemption, IT DOES HAPPEN. Convenient in this case, of course, but nobody can truthfully say it NEVER happens.
was there a train, yes (even if the mobs weren't directly on top of him from the moment he was running to the tree, he was on the agro list and they charged across from Draco kill area presumably after someone higher on agro list died)
did he instapoof no... (convenient short time on LD does not mean instapoof per what we established as definition above)
is training an offense, yes... and punishable by X days suspension depending on the severity of the situation
Did Desmo get suspended for X period of time, seems so... since the comments are that he was suspended but back a few days later
Please understand I am trying to be unbiased in my statements here, and the FE folks are going to say I'm sticking up for Desmo, but I am going by the facts of what my eyes see in the video not because it is Desmo. I would do the same regardless of the character in question, be it FE, TMO, Taken, BDA, whomever. This is what I see from the evidence, if you dispute any of it, please point out my mistake and I will review further.
So now that we got that out of the way can we all be friends?

tl;dr - video shows Desmo still in game after LD, negating instapoof claim but train claim still valid. Based on comments from others, Desmo served some suspension time... and is now back.
