I understand fully. But the fact that it is even an option for the resolution setting leads me to believe that it should and could be working properly, and shouldn't induce crashing.
[Edit] Heh. I minimized out of game to check forums, and when I re-maximized the client. Full black screen. Had to control alt delete.
