I lost faith in the game when my warlord gear that I'd worked for weeks/months getting (rank grinding) was suddenly being dished out to anyone that wanted it, all because TBC was going to be released a couple of months later. As much as I wanted to play the arenas the people I knew just weren't interested or would play a few games but quit instantly because we lost 2 out of 3.
There's almost no point trying to be "good" at WoW, they just hand good shit out to anyone who can breathe. Doesn't surprise me that millions have dropped the game, especially with the Kung Fu Panda element added (swiping monks from EQ, not cool...making it appealing to even younger kids, not cool... making me feel like I'm too old to be playing the game, not cool)
