the purple headband and red sash are tradeable so no reason why you couldnt do the turnins on the human monk, it would be the same as buying them.
also there is a monk GM in west freeport u can kill for the red sash if you are iksar and already have bad faction you probably wont care.
also if you have enough 50+ (more like 55+) friends you can just kill brother z who has no faction hit and get ur robe of the lost circle and skip those quests.
