I frequently go afk in-group on my enchanter, usually just to smoke a cigarette or walk my dog/both. Eevry time I do, I tell people im going afk, refresh all breezes and hastes, drop pet, kill it, then hide/invis. Very rarely I will have to go afk for more than something like that, and if I do I don't even say "Hey, Im going to go afk for up to 30 minutes", I say "Hey I'm going afk for along time, camping right here, TRY to keep a spot open, if not no biggie." And they usually keep it open, especially because I'm not being an xp-sponging ass.
