If you end up having a hard time finding anything look at grabbing a fixed term job at a local university or state agency. I wasn't able to find anything for a couple months after I graduated and wound up applying for a 6-month project position doing finance work. Because it was a temporary position everyone was cool with me looking for other jobs while I was working there and assuming you do a good job it is more experience/references to spice up your resume. Also, because you're not actually a permanent employee the hiring/leaving processes are really quick and laid back. For me it ended up being an awesome way to pay the bills while I was trying to transition to something more permanent.
