Thumbs down

I think a really good tight end free agent who is severely underrated due to a nagging injury last year is Dustin Keller. This dude was the only consistent target on the jets after braylon Edwards and Cotchery were sent packing and Holmes was given a disgusting 60+ million dollar contract.

Dustin Keller is too fast to be covered by a tight end, and even gets open against most defensive backs. Hes an excellent blocker despite being somewhat undersized, but makes up for his blocking with excellent hands and speed. The guy had an awesome connection with mark sanchez, and I'm sad to see him go as a jets fan. Any team who picks up keller will have a new weapon with which to create mismatches. If he goes to a team with a system/coach/QB that can utilize him correctly, I suspect he has a probowl year.

I like that the Titans finally realized that chris Johnson isn't an everydown back, they will like having a real work horse in shonn greene(I'll miss him for sure, here's one of my most fond memories of him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6NyhiXI-1c Sorry patriots fans.)

Hes by no means a star running back but hes capable of ripping off long runs, hes tougher to take down then most, and hes a guy who will get the job done and protect the ball behind a decent line. Chris Johnson will only benefit from the presence of Shonn Greene, I predict a 60/40 split in favor of Chris Johnson naturally, but I suspect shonn greene to possibly get short yardage and goal line carries...which sucks for fantasy owners of chris Johnson.

As for reggie bush going to Detroit, that's kind of a big deal. In my opinion Bush showed in his last 2 seasons with Miami that hes capable of carryin a heavy load. Detroit already has two younger running backs in Joique Bell and Mikel Leshoure, adding Bush as a featured back in a ray rice type of role is going to add lots of new capabilities to Detroit's offense. They were more of less one dimensional last season without a real number 1 running back or a real number 2 receiver. You can stop reggie bush if you want, but good luck stopping calvin Johnson if you've gotta stack the box with 8 guys. The Lions just need to bring in a good number two competitor at the receiver position and they look to be pretty lethal. Now if only they could fix their defense up a bit they could contend.
