I am simply stating that from what I know about camp rules the decision was BS, because a rogue/necro team is not enough to hold the crypt, i.e. even kill the crypt named (ignoring the emperor). At no time between your petition and when it was answered did you have sufficient force.
Now would it have been super nice of the group to give you more time? Absolutely. But the rules are if you wipe, you lose the camp.
