Didn't read the whole thread, and I noticed the monk section of the OP seemed lacking. So here's a list left to right on what is best for a monk in my opinion:
Monk:
Ears - Diamondine Earring / Crafted ones +HP / Opaline Earring
Neck - Runed Lava Pendant / Collar of Neshika / Crafted +STR / Collar of Undead Protection
Face - Dented Brass Mask / Carved Ivory Mask / Lizardskin Tribal Mask
Head - Tranix Crown / Froggy Crown / Exe Hood (probably need more than a group for Tranix)
Fingers - Djarns / Adamantite Band / Plat Fire Wedding Ring / Jagged Band / Ring of Goblin Lords
Wrist - Granite Bracer / Hero Bracers (heavy!) / Symbol of Loyalty to Vox / Silver-Plated Bracer
Arms - Azure Sleeves / Um not sure...
Gloves - Griffon Talon Gauntlets / Gem Inlaid Gauntlets / Treant Fists / Mesh or Wu's
Shoulders - Wu's

I'm sure I've missed a few things. Some prefer HP over STR, and things change when pulling really hard crap. Resists/hp > str at that point.
