What's the difference between kiting a dragon and DA tanking a dragon to hold agro?
Aren't both really just an attempt to FTE while stalling and giving your raid time to prepare?
Why is this allowed to occur if the raidforce is not ready to engage immediately? Doesn't it just breed confusion and contempt such as this?
I remember when Zeelot first brought this notion of DA tanking Trak to the server, and this conversation occured, but I'm a little fuzzy as to why the GMs allow it and say that it is viable?
On another note, TMO also did this with ranger epics (see Xanthias) on quest pieces they ninja'd that TR had FTE too according to GM rule, and the item was said that it could not be returned due to the quest already being completed. Same thing will probably happen here.
Should give the people that rush to do this sort of garbage a suspension though IMO. Should do the same for anyone Kiting or DA tanking dragons to stall so a raid can be ready too, but I guess that's common sense that just isn't so common.
