Agree with the OP.
I smoke cigarettes. I don't make it public knowledge to let everyone in my group know I'm LOVING my cigarettes. It's my business and it's a rather disgusting habit. Keep your own disgusting habits to yourself. Believe it or not, it doesn't make you more of a man to let everyone know that you're "mature" enough to sit around the house and smoke joints. It's not brag-worthy. It's pathetic the kind of crap people do in order to get some attention.
