This sentiment always makes me laugh when a stoner says it. Local law enforcement agencies don't even have money to deal with known criminals, let alone spending time and money to fly drones over houses doing thermal imaging on a whim.
I'm sure it's done when there's suspicion to do so but there is no way in hell anyone is just blanket flying drones/helicopters over every house in the country looking for things to show up in a thermal image scan.
