tbo xp loss is absolutely necessary because without it there would be NO consequence to dying in pvp as it stands now, but it is severe as hell because xping is so godawful slow
thus xp needs to be boosted and the best way to do so is a massive group xp buff to foster cooperation and help melees.

Item loot is the sting we need, not exp grind penalty. Something to benefit the killer and hurt the person who dies. It also has a nice effect of gathering all the sheep in one spot showing peoples true colors.
