The game doesn't suck at all, it just so happens that it's being overrun by cellar-dwelling potheads with little or no social skills. The devs have done a fantastic job of re-creating the magical place that existed in 1999, unfortunately they can't turn back the clock and make the "new generation" of MMO players patient or sociable.

I agree that the developers have demonstrated dedication and ability far beyond anyone's expectation or imagination. Unfortunately, the world just isn't very big in classic and there isn't much room to avoid the bad apples.
